The Black Health Matters Conference will take place from February 8th and 9th at Harvard University.

The Black Health Matters Conference aims to equip attendees with the ability to develop interdisciplinary approaches to addressing health issues within the Black community. Attendees will be able to hear from both academic and community leaders in the field of public health who have dedicated their professional careers to improving health outcomes in the Black community. The overarching theme of the third annual Black Health Matters Conference at Harvard University will be “Community Empowerment” which reflects our determination to design a conference that not only provides a space for learning but also drives change and initiative. We will be exploring the essential role of community members in improving community health outcomes and hope that many of our panels and workshops will provide the tools and initiate the conversations necessary to drive this change.
