The Harvard Dance Project performs in three new world premieres by preeminent choreographers Chanel DaSilva, Shamel Pitts, and Peter Chu created for The Harvard Dance Project student dancers. The program includes:
“WILL” by Shamel Pitts
“PUBLIC/private” by Chanel DaSilva
“Fitting Out” by Peter Chu
A pre-performance talk with the choreographers will be on Thursday, April 26, starting at 6:30pm.
An open community cypher led by Aysha Upchurch AIE’15 will immediately follow Thursday’s performance. All are invited to participate.
A post-performance talk with the choreographers will be on Friday, April 27, immediately following the performance.
*PUBLIC /private will include sensitive material addressing sexual harassment and assault which may bring up varied emotions. We encourage everyone in the audience to take care of themselves and step out if need be.
