Parking & Maps

Parking is very limited in the vicinity of Harvard Square. We strongly recommend the use of public transportation. The MBTA Red Line T, with parking available at Braintree and Alewife, stops at Harvard Square. See directions from the T Stop to Memorial Hall.

Sanders Theatre

Sanders Theatre is located inside Memorial Hall at 45 Quincy Street in Cambridge. There is NO PARKING at Memorial Hall. For those traveling to Sanders Theatre by car, check the detailed calendar event listing to see which, if any, parking facility is available for the event you wish to attend.

Broadway Garage

Located on 7 Felton Street, between Broadway and Cambridge Streets. Patrons tell the attendant that they are attending a Sanders Theatre event. They receive a swipe ticket which they will use to get back into the garage after the show, and which they will use to exit.

Oxford Street Garage

Located at 52 Oxford Street, at the intersection of Everett and Oxford Streets. Parking is located in an underground, attended garage.

Lowell Hall

Lowell Hall is located on the corner of Oxford and Kirkland Streets, at 17 Kirkland Street in Cambridge. There is NO PARKING at Lowell Hall. Parking is located at the underground garage at 52 Oxford Street, at Everett Street.

Accessible Parking

There is no accessible parking at Sanders Theatre itself. Patrons may be dropped off in the circle driveway on the Kirkland Street side of Sanders Theatre near the accessible entrance.

We encourage patrons to park at either the Broadway Garage or 52 Oxford Street Lot.

The Broadway Garage (7 Felton St.) - (0.2 miles from Sanders Theatre).  Accessible parking spaces are available on the first floor. Please note there is no elevator at the Broadway garage.  There are curb cuts at all crosswalks between the garage and the Theatre.

52 Oxford St. Garage  - (0.3 miles from Sanders Theatre). The 52 Oxford St. Garage is fully accessible with elevators and accessible parking spaces.  There are curb cuts at all crosswalks between the garage and the Theatre.

If necessary, a limited number of accessible parking spaces may be available in a nearby location by advance arrangement. It is extremely difficult to honor requests received less than 2 business days prior to an event. So please plan ahead and contact the office as early as possible.
